Guide
Online selling websites in Pakistan: where to sell (2026)
Where you sell decides what you pay per order, whether the buyer comes back to you, and how the cash on delivery reaches your account. Here is each option a Pakistani seller actually has, with fees from the platforms’ own pages, and which one fits what you sell.
Most lists of online selling websites in Pakistan are written for shoppers. They name ten sites and tell you nothing about what a seller pays, how the money reaches you, or whose customer the buyer becomes. This guide is for the seller. Fees are quoted only from each platform’s own pages, as of October 2026, and left out where the platform does not publish them.
Four questions to ask of any place you sell
- Who is it for? New stock, used items, a brand, or one-off sales.
- What does it cost? Listing fees, commission per order, and paid ads to be seen.
- Who owns the buyer? Can you reach them again, or do they belong to the platform?
- How does the money move? Who collects cash on delivery, and when it reaches you.
The answers split the options into three groups: marketplaces, social selling, and a store of your own. Most sellers who last end up using more than one.
Daraz: the biggest marketplace
Suits: new, branded or packaged products, sold to buyers who are searching for that product and do not know you yet.
Costs: Daraz says there is no listing fee. Money is taken when an order is delivered. Under the Daraz Payment Policy, that is a commission that depends on the category (the full list is on the Marketplace Commission Structure page), a 2.25% payment fee, and an item handling fee of Rs 10 to Rs 60 per item depending on price. Penalties for late or cancelled orders come on top.
Payment: Daraz handles checkout and cash on delivery. It pays you weekly by bank transfer, only for orders marked delivered, and takes back money for later returns from your next payout.
Who owns the buyer: Daraz. The buyer shops on Daraz, reviews you on Daraz and comes back to Daraz, where your listing sits next to cheaper copies of the same product.
Our Daraz seller account guide covers sign-up, every fee and the penalties in detail. To see what you keep on one order, use the Daraz profit calculator.
OLX: classifieds for local and used sales
Suits: used phones, electronics, furniture, cars and bikes, and anything you sell once to someone nearby. It is where people search for “online selling platforms in Pakistan like OLX” because it is the default for second-hand goods.
Costs: posting is free up to a limit. According to OLX’s help page on free ad limits, the limit is per category: 3 free ads every 30 days in Mobiles, Electronics and Home Appliances, and Fashion and Beauty, fewer in most other categories. The limit counts ads you posted, not ads that are still live. After that you buy single paid ads or a package, and featured ads cost extra. OLX shows the price for your category when you go to buy.
Payment: OLX does not take payment. You agree on price and handover with the buyer in chat or on the phone, usually cash in person.
Who owns the buyer: no one, really. You get a phone number for one deal. Repeat buyers are rare, and the free ad limit makes it awkward for a shop with a catalog.
Facebook Marketplace
Suits: the same kind of local, one-off sale as OLX, with buyers who are already on Facebook.
Costs and payment: Facebook publishes Marketplace fees only for the countries where it runs checkout and shipping, and Pakistan is not among them. In practice you post the listing, the buyer messages you, and you sort out payment and delivery between yourselves. If you send by courier, you book it and collect the cash on delivery yourself.
Who owns the buyer: you have a Messenger chat with them, nothing more. There is no order history and no way to bring them back except messaging them again.
Instagram, Facebook pages and TikTok
Suits: clothing, jewellery, beauty, home decor: anything that sells on how it looks. This is where most Pakistani brands get seen first.
Costs: an account is free. Reach without paying is hard, so most sellers run ads. Work out what an order can carry before you boost a post with the ad break-even calculator.
Payment: none of these apps takes payment for a Pakistani seller. TikTok’s own help page lists the countries where TikTok Shop runs, and Pakistan is not one of them as of October 2026. So the order is taken somewhere else: in the DMs, or on your own store. Taken in DMs, you copy the name, phone and address by hand, confirm, book the courier and track the cash on delivery in a notebook or a spreadsheet. Our guide to TikTok Shop in Pakistan shows how sellers turn TikTok videos into orders without it.
Who owns the buyer: the follower is yours only as long as the account is. A blocked account or a change in what the app shows wipes out your reach overnight. The orders sit in chat threads, mixed in with everything else.
The product caption generator writes posts in English or Roman Urdu if you are listing a lot of products.
WhatsApp Business
Suits: talking to buyers: confirming orders, answering questions about size and delivery, and updates after the order.
Costs: the WhatsApp Business app is free to download, with a catalog, quick replies and labels for chats.
Payment and ownership: it has no checkout for Pakistan and no order record. You do have the buyer’s number, which is worth more than a follower. It works best as the phone line of your shop, with orders placed somewhere that keeps them in one list. If buyers message you to order, the WhatsApp order link generator fills in the order message for them. To set up the catalog itself, see our WhatsApp Business catalog guide.
Your own store
Suits: anyone selling under a brand name who wants buyers to come back, from a home business on Instagram to a seller who has outgrown Daraz.
Costs: on Storelala, the Shopify alternative built for Pakistan, a store is free to start, needs no card, and takes no marketplace commission on your orders. You get a store at yourbrand.storelala.com, and you can set it up and run it from your phone.
Payment: the buyer pays by cash on delivery, JazzCash, Easypaisa or a debit or credit card, chosen at checkout. PostEx, Leopards and TCS are booked right from the order screen, the tracking number goes to your buyer on WhatsApp, and the courier pays the cash back to you. To pick one, see our comparison of the best courier service in Pakistan and estimate the charge with the courier charges calculator.
Who owns the buyer: you do. The order, with the buyer’s name, phone and address, is in your store, not in a chat thread or on someone else’s marketplace. A buyer who liked the first parcel orders again from your store, not from a search page full of competitors.
What it does not do: a new store brings no shoppers by itself the way Daraz does. Your Instagram, Facebook and TikTok bring them, and your store is where they order.
Online selling platforms in Pakistan, side by side
- Daraz: new products to strangers. No listing fee; commission by category, 2.25% payment fee and a handling fee per item. Daraz collects and pays you weekly. Daraz owns the buyer.
- OLX: used items, local deals. Free ads up to a limit per category, then paid. You collect payment yourself. No lasting relationship.
- Facebook Marketplace: local one-off sales. You arrange payment and delivery yourself. A chat, not a customer list.
- Instagram, Facebook, TikTok: being seen. Free accounts, paid reach. No checkout for Pakistan. Orders end up in DMs unless you send buyers to a store.
- WhatsApp Business: talking to buyers. Free app. No checkout or order list.
- Your own store on Storelala: a brand with repeat buyers. Free to start, no marketplace commission. Cash on delivery, JazzCash, Easypaisa and cards at checkout. You own the buyer.
Which one should you start with?
- Clearing used stuff or selling one phone: OLX or Facebook Marketplace. Nothing else is worth setting up.
- Reselling branded or packaged goods with no following: Daraz, where the buyers already search. Price for the full commission from day one.
- Your own clothes, jewellery or a product with a look: Instagram, Facebook and TikTok to be seen, your own store to take the orders, and WhatsApp for questions.
- No stock yet: read how dropshipping in Pakistan works with a local supplier and cash on delivery before you list anything.

Many sellers run Daraz and their own store side by side: Daraz finds new buyers, and the ones who come back order from the store with no commission taken. Our guide to Daraz vs your own store covers how to split the work between them. Whatever mix you choose, run the numbers on one order in the COD profit calculator so you know what a returned parcel costs you. Questions sellers ask
Which is the best online selling website in Pakistan?
It depends on what you sell. For new products to buyers who do not know you, Daraz brings the most shoppers. For used items, phones and one-off sales, OLX. For a brand you want to keep selling under, your own store, with Instagram, Facebook and TikTok bringing people to it.
Which online selling platform is free in Pakistan?
Several are free to start. Daraz charges no listing fee but takes commission, a payment fee and a handling fee on each delivered order. OLX gives a set number of free ads per category every 30 days. The WhatsApp Business app is free. A Storelala store is free to start, with no card needed and no marketplace commission.
Can I sell online in Pakistan without a website?
Yes. Many sellers start on Daraz, OLX or Instagram with no site of their own. The catch is that the buyer belongs to the platform. Once you have repeat buyers, a store of your own lets them order again without a marketplace taking a cut.
Can I sell on TikTok Shop from Pakistan?
Not as of October 2026. TikTok’s own help page lists the countries where TikTok Shop runs, and Pakistan is not one of them. Pakistani sellers use TikTok videos to bring buyers to where they actually take orders.
How do I get paid when I sell online in Pakistan?
On Daraz, the buyer pays Daraz, and Daraz pays you weekly by bank transfer for delivered orders, after its fees. On your own store or social media, most buyers pay cash on delivery: the courier collects the cash at the door and pays it back to you.
What is the best online selling app in Pakistan?
For reaching buyers who do not know you, Daraz. For local one-off sales, OLX. For running a brand from your phone, your own store: on Storelala you set it up, add products and handle orders from your phone.
Storelala is the Shopify alternative in Pakistan: your own store at yourbrand.storelala.com (moveable to yourbrand.pk or yourbrand.com when you are ready), cash on delivery, JazzCash, Easypaisa and cards built in, no marketplace commission, and free to start with no card needed.
