Guide
Best courier service in Pakistan for online business
For a COD seller, the best courier is the one that pays you back fast, charges little for returns and reaches your buyers. Here is what each major courier publishes on those points, what you have to ask for, and how to test them on your own orders.
What decides your profit on a COD order
Most lists of the best courier service in Pakistan rank companies by size. Size is not what makes or loses you money on cash on delivery. These five things are:
- How fast the cash comes back. Your buyer pays the rider, and the courier pays you later. Every day the money sits with the courier is a day you cannot buy stock or run ads.
- What a returned parcel costs. When a buyer refuses the parcel, you usually pay for the trip out and often for the trip back. When many parcels come back, this can cost more than the difference between two couriers’ rates.
- Whether it reaches your buyers. A courier that is strong in Karachi and Lahore may be slow in smaller towns, and slow parcels get refused.
- Pickup from home. If you sell from home, a courier that collects from your door saves a daily trip to an express centre.
- How easy it is to start. Some couriers let you begin with a CNIC and one parcel. Others want a merchant account first. FBR now bars couriers from serving unregistered online sellers, so get your free NTN first, as in how to register an online business in Pakistan.
Rates matter too, but most couriers do not publish their COD rates for online sellers. The rate you get depends on weight, destination and how many parcels you send.
The couriers, one by one
Everything below is from each courier’s own website, checked in October 2026. Where a courier does not publish something, we say so.
TCS
TCS has the biggest walk-in network, with more than 1,000 Express Centres. Its Retail COD is for small businesses and home-based sellers, with “no complicated account requirements”. For bigger sellers, TCS has a booking tool called Envio for booking and tracking many parcels at once, pickup options and returns, described on its e-com solutions page. TCS does not publish how many days it takes to pay out COD cash or what a returned parcel costs. Ask for both in writing.
Leopards
Leopards publishes the clearest terms for a small seller. Its Retail COD needs a copy of your CNIC and a cheque, has no minimum number of parcels, and pays COD cash to your bank account weekly, “within a week” of delivery. Leopards says Retail COD has no return fees, taxes, fuel surcharges or GST, and that pickup has no extra charge. You pay the service charge when you book. These terms are for Retail COD. On a corporate COD account, ask whether they still apply.
M&P
M&P says its COD service reaches over 1,600 locations, has no minimum shipment quantity and offers “quick paybacks”, without saying how many days. It has a COD portal and an app. Rates are by quote.
PostEx (and Call Courier)
PostEx is built around cash flow. It offers upfront payment on COD orders: you book, PostEx picks the parcel up from your door, and it says the upfront payment is transferred instantly. It lists 600+ destinations and books pickups through its website or app. Its rate calculator gives an estimate, and you get your own tariff sheet once you sign up. Ask what the upfront payment costs you, as it is not free money.
Call Courier is no longer separate. PostEx bought it in 2022, and the Call Courier site now says “Call Courier is now PostEx”. If an older guide compares the two, it is out of date.
Trax (now SLGTrax)
trax.pk now redirects to SLGTrax. Its e-commerce page promises COD payment “within 24 hours of delivery”, lists 650+ destinations, and offers Retail COD at its express centres for walk-in sellers. Sellers sign up and book in the Sonic portal. Rates are not published on the page; it has a rate calculator.
BlueEx
BlueEx started COD in 2010 and says it reaches more than 400 cities and towns, with return management. It does not publish payout timing. When we checked, its home page also carried a notice asking sellers not to send orders to some cities for now, so check that list against your buyers.
Side by side
As of October 2026, from each courier’s own site. “Ask” means the courier does not publish it, so get it in your quote.
| Courier | COD cash back | Returned parcel | Reach | Start small |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TCS | Ask | Ask | 1,000+ Express Centres | Retail COD |
| Leopards | Weekly (Retail COD) | No return fee (Retail COD) | Ask | Retail COD, CNIC and cheque |
| M&P | “Quick”, days not stated | Ask | 1,600+ locations | No minimum parcels |
| PostEx | Upfront, instant | Ask | 600+ destinations | Sign up online |
| SLGTrax | Within 24 hours | Ask | 650+ destinations | Retail COD |
| BlueEx | Ask | Ask | 400+ cities and towns | Open an account |
Coverage numbers are each courier’s own count, and they count different things: express centres, locations or destinations. They tell you little about how well a courier delivers in your buyers’ towns. Only your own orders will tell you that.
How to get a real rate
Call or message the courier’s sales team, or ask at an express centre, and ask for:
- The rate for your usual parcel weight, within your city, to your province and across the country.
- The COD fee, if there is one, and any fuel surcharge on top.
- What a returned parcel costs, and whether you pay the trip back as well.
- How many days after delivery the cash reaches your bank, and whether faster payout costs extra.
- Whether they pick up from your home, and by what time you need to book.
Couriers also charge for the size of the box, not just its weight. Put your quotes into the courier charges calculator to see the chargeable weight of your parcel and which quote is cheapest for it.
Start with one courier, then add a second
Pick one courier to start. Choose on payout speed and return cost first, rate second. Send your first 50–100 orders with it and note what happens to each one. For buyers in your own city or towns your courier does not reach, see how to deliver products to customers in Pakistan for the other routes.
Once you can see which towns are slow or refuse more, add a second courier for those areas. Two couriers also keep you shipping when one has a backlog, as happens around Eid and sale days. More than two is hard to manage when you are small.
Track your return rate per courier
The number that decides which courier is best for you is your return rate with each one. Every week, count for each courier: parcels sent, delivered, returned, and cash received. A courier that is Rs 20 cheaper but returns one parcel in four is not cheaper.
To see what returns do to your margin, put your numbers into the COD profit calculator. It shows your profit per order after courier, packaging, ads and returned parcels, and the highest return rate you can afford. Most refusals start before the parcel leaves, so confirm each order first. Our Urdu guide to cash on delivery orders covers how. For the full routine, from the confirmation call to a list of refusers, see how to reduce COD returns.
Where your store fits
On Storelala, your buyer pays by cash on delivery, JazzCash, Easypaisa or a debit or credit card, chosen at checkout. You book PostEx, Leopards or TCS right from the order screen, and the tracking number goes to your buyer on WhatsApp, so each order shows who is carrying it. That gives you one place to see which orders went with which courier when you count returns at the end of the week.

Questions sellers ask
Which is the best courier service in Pakistan for COD?
There is no single winner. If cash flow is tight, look at PostEx, which offers upfront payment on COD orders, and SLGTrax (Trax), which advertises payment within 24 hours of delivery. If you send one or two parcels a day and want no paperwork, TCS and Leopards both run Retail COD from their express centres. Test one, then compare delivery and return rates on your own orders.
Leopards vs TCS: which is cheaper?
Neither publishes a COD rate list for online sellers, and rates depend on weight, destination and your volume. Ask both for a quote on your usual parcel weight to your top three cities, and ask what a returned parcel costs. Leopards says its Retail COD has no return fees, which matters more than a few rupees on the forward rate if your return rate is high.
Trax vs PostEx: which pays faster?
PostEx says it transfers an upfront payment on COD orders instantly once it picks up your parcel. SLGTrax, the company behind Trax, says it pays within 24 hours of delivery. Ask each one what the faster payout costs you, since it may be built into the rate or charged as a fee.
Is Call Courier the same as PostEx now?
Yes. PostEx bought Call Courier in 2022, and the Call Courier website now says Call Courier is now PostEx and sends tracking to postex.pk.
What is the cheapest courier service for online business in Pakistan?
The cheapest one on paper is not always the cheapest per delivered order. A low forward rate with a high return charge, or a courier that delivers fewer of your parcels, can cost more. Work out your profit per order with your real return rate before you choose.
Do I need a registered business to open a courier COD account?
You do not need a company, but you need an NTN. FBR Income Tax Circular 01 of 2025–26 bars couriers from serving unregistered online sellers, and an individual NTN on IRIS is free. After that, Leopards Retail COD asks for a copy of your CNIC and a cheque, with no minimum number of parcels, and a full merchant account may ask for more, so ask the courier when you sign up.
