The best Shopify alternative in Pakistan (2026)

Shopify works in Pakistan, but it bills in dollars and has no Shopify Payments here. This guide puts Shopify’s real cost in rupees next to each Shopify alternative in Pakistan, and shows how to move your products across.

Is Shopify available in Pakistan?

Yes. Shopify works in Pakistan: you can sign up, build a store and take orders. Three things work differently here, and they are why sellers search for a Shopify alternative in Pakistan.

  • The bill is in US dollars. Shopify’s Pakistan pricing page lists Basic at $25 a month, or $19 a month billed yearly, as of October 2026. New stores get 3 days free, then $1 a month for 3 months.
  • There is no Shopify Payments. Pakistan is not on Shopify’s supported countries list, so card and wallet payments go through a third-party provider.
  • Cash on delivery is a manual payment method. It works, but Shopify’s help page puts it alongside money orders and bank transfers, and the order shows as unpaid until you mark it paid.

None of this stops you selling on Shopify. It changes what each month and each order costs, and how much of the cash on delivery work is left to you.

What Shopify costs a Pakistani seller in rupees

On a Bank Alfalah credit card, Shopify Basic comes to about Rs 7,610 a month for a filer and about Rs 7,960 for a non-filer, as of October 2026. Card and wallet payments then carry two fees each.

The monthly bill

The State Bank’s interbank rate was Rs 277.21 to the dollar on October 2, 2026, so Basic at $25 is about Rs 6,950 before your bank adds anything. Bank Alfalah’s schedule of charges for July to December 2026 lists a 4.5% fee on foreign credit card transactions (at least Rs 125) and advance tax on international transactions of 5% for filers and 10% for non-filers. That is where the Rs 7,610 and Rs 7,960 come from.

Billed yearly, Basic is $228 in one charge: about Rs 63,400, or about Rs 69,400 for a filer once the same charges are added. Paid looks and many apps are billed in dollars on the same card, so each one you add carries the same bank charges. Other banks publish their own schedules, and the bill moves every time the rupee does.

The fee on card and wallet payments

Without Shopify Payments, every card or wallet payment goes through a third-party provider, and Shopify’s help centre says its third-party transaction fee applies on all of them, on top of the provider’s own fee. The Pakistan pricing page says the rate depends on your plan without listing it. Shopify’s global pricing page shows 2% on Basic.

Take a Rs 5,000 card order through Bank Alfalah’s gateway. Its schedule lists a 3.5% merchant discount rate, Rs 35 a transaction and 0.85% for its Shopify Integration App: Rs 252.50 together. Add Shopify’s 2%, if that rate applies to your store, and the order costs about Rs 353 to collect, roughly 7% of the sale, before any tax on the bank’s charges. The bank says its charges can vary by business, so ask for your own rates before you compare. For each plan, the trial and theme prices in detail, see what Shopify costs in Pakistan.

How Storelala compares

Storelala is the Shopify alternative built for Pakistan. Your store is free on Lite, with paid plans from Rs 1,000 a month billed yearly, paid in rupees with no transaction fees from Storelala, and everything runs from your phone.

Your store goes live at yourbrand.storelala.com with a look made for what you sell. Prices are in rupees, you set a delivery fee such as Rs 200 and free delivery above an amount you choose, and buyers give an address with a nearest landmark. The store opens quickly on mobile data, even where the signal is weak.

Cash on delivery is built into every order, and buyers can also pay by JazzCash, Easypaisa or a debit or credit card, chosen at checkout. Orders move through To confirm, To send, Sent and Done, and All holds every order. Before you confirm, you see the buyer’s earlier orders with you and any parcel they refused. If the buyer wants a different size on the call, you change it there. When you send the parcel, you book PostEx, Leopards or TCS from the order screen and the tracking number goes to your buyer on WhatsApp. A refused or returned parcel goes back into stock.

Your Shopify products come with you: Storelala imports a Shopify product CSV, with sizes, prices, stock and photos, and shows a preview before anything changes.

What it does not do yet: there are no discount codes, customer accounts, reviews or app store.

If this is your first store, our guide on how to start an online store in Pakistan covers everything around the platform.

Platforms like Shopify in Pakistan

Four other names come up when a Pakistani seller compares, and each one is the right pick for some businesses. Prices are from each company’s own site, as of October 2026.

Webx

Webx is a Karachi-based store builder and the closest like-for-like swap: hosted for you, plans by size, and a fee on online payments, but billed in rupees. Its pricing page lists Webx Lite at Rs 1,950 a month for 50 products, and Basic at Rs 3,950 a month, or Rs 2,965 a month billed yearly, for 500 products. Its fee on third-party payment providers runs from 2.5% on Lite to 0.45% on Advanced, and it charges nothing on cash on delivery or bank transfers.

The same page lists JazzCash, EasyPaisa, AlfaPay and PayFast among its gateways, and TCS, Postex, Leopards, Trax, M&P and BluEx as couriers, and says its team helps move stores from Shopify. There is a free trial, 7 days per its help centre, and no free plan on the pricing page.

WooCommerce

WooCommerce is free software for a WordPress website, with no platform fees and no revenue share. You pay for hosting, such as HosterPK’s WordPress I plan at Rs 5,490 a year, plus an address, a theme and extensions, many billed in dollars. Cash on delivery is built in. Updates and backups are your job or a developer’s. Our guide to WooCommerce in Pakistan covers the setup, and Shopify vs WooCommerce in Pakistan compares the two.

Wix

Wix is a website builder with a store added. Its payment provider list shows “Pakistan: N/A”, so stores here take cash on delivery through manual payments, on a plan that supports payments. It suits a business whose website matters more than its shop.

Daraz

Daraz is a marketplace rather than a store builder. Its seller page says there is no listing fee and commission depends on the category. It brings buyers who already shop there, and keeps the customer. See Daraz vs your own online store.

Shopify’s gateway list for Pakistan is on its payment gateways page. Webx’s gateway and courier lists differ between its pricing, features and help pages, so ask which are live for your account before you pay for a year.

Cash on delivery on each platform

Every platform here takes cash on delivery, and Shopify, Webx and WooCommerce say they charge no platform fee on it. What differs is how much of the COD work the platform does for you. Where COD is only a way to pay, calling to confirm, keeping track of buyers who turned a parcel away and marking the cash received are done by hand or with apps.

  • Shopify: a manual payment method. The order is marked unpaid, and you mark it paid once the courier sends the cash. No third-party fee applies.
  • WooCommerce: a built-in Cash on Delivery method. You choose which shipping methods offer it, and orders stay at Processing until you mark them Complete.
  • Webx: supported, and Webx says it charges no transaction fee on COD.
  • Wix: a manual payment, on a plan that supports payments.
  • Storelala: the order itself is built around COD, from To confirm to To send to Done, with the buyer’s earlier orders and refused parcels on screen. Buyers can also pay by JazzCash, Easypaisa or card at checkout.

The courier charge is the same whatever you build on. PostEx’s public calculator showed Rs 274.05 for a 0.5 kg parcel from Karachi to Lahore on October 3, 2026, including fuel surcharge and GST, and Rs 156.60 within the same city; merchant accounts get their own, lower tariff. Compare couriers in the best courier service in Pakistan, and see what one order leaves you after returns with the COD profit calculator.

The rest of COD work is the same everywhere: confirm the order on WhatsApp, filter out fake orders, cut returns and know when the courier pays you.

Five checks before you switch from Shopify

Run these on any Shopify alternative in Pakistan before you move your whole catalogue. They take an evening and show you the real cost and the real work.

  1. Put the year’s bill in rupees. As of October 2026, Shopify Basic billed yearly is about Rs 69,400 on a Bank Alfalah card for a filer. Webx Basic billed yearly is Rs 35,580 and Webx Lite is Rs 23,400. WooCommerce is about Rs 8,920 for HosterPK’s entry WordPress hosting and a .com address, before any paid look or developer. Storelala is free on Lite, and Core is Rs 12,000 a year. The best ecommerce platform in Pakistan guide shows the working.
  2. Price the fee on card and wallet sales. On Rs 500,000 a month taken by card or wallet, a 2% Shopify fee is Rs 10,000 a month and Webx Basic’s 1.25% is Rs 6,250, both before the gateway’s own fee. If nearly every order is cash on delivery, this line is close to zero on both.
  3. Place a cash on delivery order from your phone. Order a piece, confirm it as you would on a call, change the size, and book a courier from the order screen. Then mark a second test order refused and check whether the stock comes back on its own.
  4. Check your couriers. Ask which of PostEx, Leopards, TCS, M&P or Trax you can use, whether you book inside the platform or in the courier’s own app, and how the tracking number reaches the buyer.
  5. Import a real product file. Export ten products from Shopify, import them, and look at the sizes, stock and photos. Note what did not come across before you move the rest.

Who should stay on Shopify

Shopify is the right choice for some Pakistani sellers, and moving would cost them more than it saves. Stay if:

  • Most of your buyers are abroad and pay by card.
  • Your store depends on particular Shopify apps, such as subscriptions, bundles or loyalty points.
  • You rely on discount codes, customer accounts or product reviews.
  • A developer built your theme and your team already knows the admin.

If you stay, two things lower the bill. Billing yearly costs $19 a month on Basic instead of $25, which saves $72 a year. And keeping cash on delivery as a manual method means Shopify takes no transaction fee on those orders. If you are weighing a self-hosted store instead, read Shopify vs WooCommerce in Pakistan.

Moving from Shopify to Storelala

Move your products first, and keep Shopify running until the new store takes its first orders.

  1. Export your products from Shopify. Shopify’s export guide says to go to Products in your Shopify admin and click Export. You get a CSV file.
  2. Make your Storelala store. It is free on Lite, with paid plans from Rs 1,000 a month billed yearly, and opens at yourbrand.storelala.com.
  3. Import the file. In Products, open Import / Export and upload the CSV. Storelala shows a preview with any problems by row number before anything changes. It brings over titles, descriptions, product types as categories, sizes and colours, SKUs, prices, stock, weight and photos. Photos are downloaded from the links in the file and kept, so they still show after you close the Shopify store, and photos from your computer are matched by file name.
  4. Check what stays behind. Sale and compare-at prices, selling when out of stock, vendor, tags, image alt text, SEO fields, barcodes and metafields are not imported. The import adds and updates products and never deletes any.
  5. Set your delivery fee and pick a look. Set the fee and the amount above which delivery is free.
  6. Place a test order. Order something on cash on delivery from your own phone, confirm it, and book a courier from the order screen.
  7. Switch over. Keep the Shopify plan until orders are coming in on Storelala, then close it.
