Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Storelala (“we”, “us”) when you run a store on Storelala or use storelala.com. By creating a store or using our site, you agree to them. We have kept them short and plain; if anything is unclear, ask us.

What Storelala is

Storelala lets sellers in Pakistan run an online store at their own address, such as yourbrand.storelala.com. You add your products, shoppers order from your store, and you deliver the order and collect cash on delivery. We provide the software and the hosting. We are not a marketplace, and we are not part of the sale between you and your shoppers.

Your account

  • You sign in with a Google account, or with your email address and a password. One email address can run more than one store, up to the number its plan allows.
  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into an agreement under Pakistani law.
  • Keep your Google account or password secure. You are responsible for everything done in your store with your account.
  • Give accurate information, and keep your store’s contact details current so shoppers can reach you.

Selling on Storelala

  • You are the seller. Every sale on your store is between you and your shopper. You set your prices, describe your products honestly, deliver orders, and handle exchanges, returns and refunds.
  • Cash on delivery only. Shoppers pay you or your courier when the order arrives. Storelala never takes, holds or passes on money for your orders, so any payment question is between you, your shopper and your courier.
  • The law is yours to follow. You are responsible for the laws that apply to your business, including consumer protection, tax and business registration rules in Pakistan.
  • Tell shoppers your delivery charges and your exchange and return terms clearly, before they order.

What you can’t sell or do

You may not use Storelala to sell or promote:

  • Counterfeits or replicas, including “master copy” or “first copy” items, or anything that uses another brand’s name, logo or designs without permission.
  • Weapons, ammunition or explosives.
  • Drugs, medicines or alcohol.
  • Adult or sexual content.
  • Stolen goods, or anything you don’t have the right to sell.
  • Anything else that is illegal in Pakistan or needs a licence you don’t have.

You also may not pretend to be another business, bank or brand; post hateful, threatening or misleading content; send spam; use shoppers’ details for anything other than their orders; or try to break into, overload or interfere with Storelala or other stores.

Your content

  • You own what you put in your store: your store name, logo, product photos and descriptions.
  • You give us permission (a licence) to host, copy, resize, show and share that content only to run your store and Storelala: for example, to show your products to shoppers and to make the preview that appears when someone shares your store’s link. This permission ends when the content or your store is deleted.
  • Only upload photos and text you have the right to use. Don’t use other people’s photos, brand names or logos without their permission.
  • If you believe a store uses your photos or your brand without permission, tell us the store’s address and what is copied. We will look into it and may remove the content.

Removing content and suspending stores

We may remove content, or suspend or close a store, if it breaks these terms or the law, if we receive a credible complaint (for example about counterfeit products or copied photos), if it puts shoppers or Storelala at risk, or, once there are fees, if they go unpaid. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix it first. A suspended store tells shoppers that it is unavailable.

Your store address

Your store address (yourbrand.storelala.com) is an address on storelala.com. You can use it while your store is active and follows these terms, but it doesn’t become your property. We may refuse or take back an address that uses someone else’s brand or is misleading. If you change your address, the old one keeps sending shoppers to your store.

Fees

Every store starts free on Lite, with no card. Paid plans are optional: Core is Rs 2,000 a month (Rs 12,000 a year) and Grow is Rs 4,000 a month (Rs 24,000 a year). Prices are in rupees, and you can pay monthly or yearly. You can cancel at any time, and your store stays available until the end of the period you have paid for. If we change our prices, we will tell you at least 30 days before the change applies to you, and you can choose to stop using Storelala instead. If your store was made before we began charging, we will give you 30 days’ notice before your first charge.

Leaving Storelala

You can stop using Storelala at any time. To delete your account, open the Account page in your dashboard and tap “Delete my account”. Your stores go offline at once. Seven days later we delete your stores, products, photos, orders and account. During those seven days you can tap “Keep my account” and everything comes back, and if you asked for a copy of your data, you can download your products, photos, orders and customers as a zip. Your store addresses on storelala.com are retired: they stop working and are never given to anyone else. A domain you connected is disconnected and stays yours. Feedback you sent us stays. Backup copies are removed as backups are replaced. We may keep a limited record where the law requires it, or to deal with a dispute or an abuse report. If you can’t sign in, contact us from the email address you sign in with; we reply to that address to confirm before we delete anything.

Our service

We work to keep Storelala running and your store online, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features, and we will tell you before a change that significantly affects your store. Storelala is provided “as is”.

Responsibility

  • To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for lost sales, lost profits, lost data or other indirect losses, or for disputes between you and your shoppers or couriers.
  • To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
  • If someone makes a claim against Storelala because of your products, your content or the way you run your store (for example, a brand owner complaining about copies of their products), you agree to cover the cost of that claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. For important changes, we will tell you in advance, by email or in your store’s admin. If you keep using Storelala after a change, the new terms apply.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. If we disagree about something, let’s first try to sort it out by talking. If we can’t, the courts of Pakistan will decide.
