Best ecommerce platform in Pakistan: 2026 comparison

Storelala Team

The best ecommerce platform in Pakistan depends on how your buyers pay and how you want to be billed. Below, Storelala, Shopify, WooCommerce, Webx and Wix are compared on what the first year costs in rupees and what each one takes from a sale, cash on delivery or card.

The short answer

For a seller who takes cash on delivery and runs the business from a phone, the best ecommerce platform in Pakistan is one that costs nothing to start and is built around the COD order. That is what Storelala is built for. The other four win in specific cases:

  • Shopify if most of your buyers are abroad, or you need its app store. It bills in US dollars.
  • WooCommerce if you already have a WordPress website or a developer, and want control over every part of the store.
  • Webx if you want a Pakistani company to call, on a monthly plan billed in rupees.
  • Wix if the shop is a small part of a bigger website. It lists no payment provider for Pakistan.

Every price and fee below is as published on each company’s own pages in October 2026, linked where it appears. Prices change, so open the link before you pay.

What the first year costs

This is the platform bill alone for the first year, on the cheapest plan that takes orders, as of October 2026. Dollar prices are at about Rs 278 to the dollar; the State Bank’s interbank rate was Rs 277.21 on October 2, 2026.

Platform First year What is in it
Storelala Rs 0 Store, looks, checkout and couriers; no card needed
WooCommerce About Rs 8,920 HosterPK WordPress I at Rs 5,490 plus a .com at Rs 3,430; a paid theme, extensions and a developer are extra
Webx Lite Rs 23,400 Rs 1,950 × 12, with 50 products and a 2.5% fee on online payments
Webx Basic, yearly Rs 35,580 Rs 2,965 × 12, with 500 products and a 1.25% fee on online payments
Shopify Basic, yearly About Rs 63,400 $228 in one charge, before bank charges; apps and paid themes are extra
Wix Varies Check the plans page from Pakistan

The Shopify line grows once it reaches your card. On a Bank Alfalah credit card, the 4.5% foreign transaction fee and 5% advance tax for a filer from its schedule of charges add about Rs 6,000 to $228, so the year comes to about Rs 69,400. For the full cost of a store, including design, photos and a developer, see ecommerce website price in Pakistan.

What changes the cost from one platform to the next

Six things decide what a platform costs you here and how much work it makes. Long feature lists matter less than these.

  • How your buyers pay. If most orders are cash on delivery, the COD flow matters more than the gateway list: confirming the order, sending the parcel, recording a refused one, and marking the cash received. Card and wallet payments need a gateway account, documents and a fee on every payment. Our guide to payment gateways in Pakistan covers what they ask for.
  • The currency of the bill. A dollar bill moves with the rupee. The State Bank’s interbank rate was Rs 277.21 to the dollar on October 2, 2026, and your bank adds its own charges on top. Bank Alfalah’s schedule of charges for July to December 2026 lists a 4.5% fee on foreign credit card transactions (at least Rs 125) and advance tax of 5% for filers and 10% for non-filers on international transactions. Other banks publish their own schedules.
  • The platform’s cut of online payments. Shopify and Webx charge their own fee when a gateway takes a card or wallet payment, on top of the gateway’s fee. Both say they charge nothing on cash on delivery orders. On a Rs 5,000 card order, Webx Lite’s 2.5% is Rs 125, Webx Basic’s 1.25% is Rs 62.50, and Shopify’s 2% on Basic, if that rate applies to your store, is Rs 100.
  • The courier. The courier charge is the same on every platform. PostEx’s public calculator showed Rs 274.05 for a 0.5 kg parcel from Karachi to Lahore on October 3, 2026, including fuel surcharge and GST; merchant accounts get their own, lower tariff. What changes between platforms is how the courier and tracking number reach the order and the buyer.
  • Who runs the website. Storelala, Shopify, Webx and Wix host and update the store for you. WooCommerce runs on hosting you rent, so updates, backups and security are your job or your developer’s.
  • Your phone. If you will run the business from your phone, add a product and confirm a test order on the phone before you pay for anything.

Storelala

Storelala is the Shopify alternative built for Pakistan, made for sellers who take cash on delivery and work from a phone. Making your store and selling on it is free, and you do not need a card to start.

Your store goes live at yourbrand.storelala.com, and can move to yourbrand.pk or yourbrand.com whenever you are ready, with the store and orders unchanged. It comes with a free look made for what you sell: fashion, electronics, beauty, home, food or kids. Prices are in rupees, you set your delivery fee and free delivery above an amount you choose, and buyers give an address with a nearest landmark instead of a postcode.

Every order sits in three tabs: To confirm, To send and Done. Before you confirm, you see the buyer’s earlier orders with you and any parcel they turned away. If the buyer wants an L instead of an M, you change it on the call and the total and stock update together. Buyers pay by cash on delivery, JazzCash, Easypaisa or a debit or credit card, chosen at checkout. When the parcel goes out, you book PostEx, Leopards or TCS from the order screen and the tracking number goes to your buyer on WhatsApp. A refused parcel goes back into stock, and you mark the cash received when the courier pays you.

If you are on Shopify now, Storelala imports your products from a Shopify product CSV, with sizes, prices, stock and photos.

Where it falls short: there are no discount codes and no app store.

Suits: a brand selling clothes, jewellery, shoes or other products on cash on delivery, from home or a small shop, that wants to start this week without a monthly bill.

Shopify

Shopify works in Pakistan: you can sign up, build a store and take cash on delivery orders. It is the most mature platform of the five, with a large theme store and app store. What changes in Pakistan is the money.

  • Price, in dollars. Shopify’s Pakistan pricing page lists Basic at $25 a month, or $19 a month billed yearly; Grow at $65 or $49; and Advanced at $399 or $299, as of October 2026. New stores get 3 days free, then $1 a month for 3 months. At about Rs 278 to the dollar, Basic is about Rs 6,950 a month before your bank’s charges.
  • No Shopify Payments. Pakistan is not on the supported countries list, so card and wallet payments go through a third-party provider. Shopify’s gateway list for Pakistan includes Safepay and Paymob.
  • A fee on those payments. Shopify adds a third-party transaction fee to each gateway payment, on top of the gateway’s own fee. The Pakistan page says the rate depends on your plan without listing it; Shopify’s global pricing page shows 2% on Basic, 1% on Grow and 0.6% on Advanced. Confirm the rate for your store before you connect a gateway.
  • Cash on delivery is a manual method. Shopify’s help page says manual payments carry no transaction fee, and orders paid this way are marked unpaid until you mark them paid.
  • Couriers. You book the parcel through your courier’s portal, or an app if your courier offers one, and keep the tracking number with the order.

Suits: sellers whose buyers are mostly abroad, brands that depend on particular Shopify apps, and businesses with the margin to absorb a dollar bill. For plan-by-plan numbers and how the trial works, see what Shopify costs in Pakistan. For the alternatives, see the Shopify alternative in Pakistan.

WooCommerce

WooCommerce is free software that turns a WordPress website into a store. Its pricing page says it is free to download and use, with no platform fees and no revenue share. You pay for everything around it.

  • Hosting. HosterPK’s WordPress I plan was Rs 5,490 a year for one site in October 2026. Websouls’ Startup plan was Rs 9,990 for the first year, renewing at Rs 16,650. Check the renewal price, not just the first-year offer.
  • Your own address. A .com was Rs 3,430 a year at HosterPK, and a .pk was Rs 4,299 for two years at Websouls, as of October 2026.
  • Extensions, in dollars. Many WooCommerce extensions are sold by the year. WooCommerce’s own Product Add-Ons was $79 a year.
  • Cash on delivery is built in. WooCommerce’s Cash on Delivery method keeps orders at Processing until you mark them Complete after the cash is collected. Cards and wallets need a gateway plugin.
  • Couriers. A plugin from your courier if it offers one, or the tracking number added to the order by hand.

Suits: a business that already has a WordPress site or a developer on call, and wants something only a plugin offers. Our guide to WooCommerce in Pakistan covers the setup, and Shopify vs WooCommerce in Pakistan compares the two head to head.

Webx

Webx is a Pakistani store builder based in Karachi, with monthly plans billed in rupees. In shape it is the closest local platform to Shopify: hosted for you, plans by size, and a fee on online payments.

Its pricing page, as of October 2026:

  • Webx Lite: Rs 1,950 a month, 50 products, 2.5% fee on online payments, no staff accounts.
  • Basic: Rs 3,950 a month, or Rs 2,965 a month billed yearly, 500 products, 1.25% fee.
  • Business: Rs 7,950 a month, or Rs 5,965 billed yearly, unlimited products, 0.75% fee.
  • Advanced: Rs 24,950 a month, or Rs 18,715 billed yearly, unlimited products, 0.45% fee.

The fee applies only to third-party payment providers. Webx says it charges no transaction fee on cash on delivery, bank transfers or other offline payments. The pricing page offers a free trial and lists no free plan; Webx’s help centre puts the trial at 7 days.

Webx’s pricing FAQ lists JazzCash, EasyPaisa, AlfaPay and PayFast among its gateways, and TCS, Postex, Leopards, Trax, M&P and BluEx as pre-integrated couriers. Hosting and SSL are included, every store gets a free mystore.webx.pk address or can use its own, and its team offers to help move a store from Shopify or WooCommerce.

Trade-offs: a monthly bill from the first day, a 50-product cap on Lite, and a platform fee on card and wallet payments on top of the gateway’s own. The gateway and courier lists differ between Webx’s pricing, features and help pages, so ask which ones are live for your account before you sign up for a year.

Suits: a brand that wants card and wallet payments and courier integrations from a local company, and is ready to pay monthly in rupees.

Wix

Wix is a website builder with a store added. It is good at drag-and-drop pages, and weak on payments in Pakistan.

  • Wix’s payment provider list shows “Pakistan: N/A”, and Wix Payments is not offered here.
  • You can take cash on delivery through Wix’s manual payments, but only on a plan that supports payments.
  • Wix shows plan prices by location. Open the page from Pakistan to see yours, and check which plans accept payments.

Suits: a caterer or a design studio whose website matters more than the shop, taking a few orders on cash on delivery.

Which one for which seller

  • Lawn, pret, jewellery or shoes from home, on cash on delivery: Storelala. Start free, run orders from your phone, and spend the money on stock.
  • Most buyers abroad, paying by card: Shopify, with a gateway that serves your buyers’ countries.
  • A brand that wants a Pakistani company to call and a bill in rupees: Webx Basic or Business, or Shopify with a local gateway. Add the platform fee to the gateway’s fee before you compare.
  • A WordPress site and a developer already: WooCommerce.
  • A website first and a shop second: Wix, taking orders on cash on delivery.
  • Branded or packaged goods that people search for by name, and no following yet: start on Daraz, below.

Whichever you shortlist, test it before you pay. Put up five products, place a cash on delivery order from your own phone, confirm it and mark it sent. The platform that makes that quickest is the one you will still be using in a year. When you are ready, our guide on how to start an online store in Pakistan covers everything after the platform.

Store builder or marketplace (Daraz)

Daraz is a marketplace, not a store builder, so it is a different decision. Daraz’s seller page says there is no listing fee and that commission depends on the product category. Daraz brings buyers who already shop there; in return you sell under its rules and its fees. On your own store the buyer and the margin are yours.

Many sellers run both. Our guide to Daraz vs your own online store covers how to split the work, the Daraz profit calculator shows what a sale there leaves you, and online selling websites in Pakistan compares Daraz, OLX, Facebook Marketplace and social apps.

Questions sellers ask

Which ecommerce platform is best in Pakistan for a new seller?

If you sell on cash on delivery and run the business from your phone, start with a platform that is free and treats COD as the main way to pay, such as Storelala. Pick Shopify if most of your buyers are abroad, WooCommerce if you have a developer and a WordPress site, and Webx if you want a local company billed in rupees.

What is the cheapest ecommerce platform in Pakistan?

Storelala is free to start and to sell on, with no card needed. As of October 2026, WooCommerce costs about Rs 8,920 in the first year for HosterPK’s entry WordPress hosting plus a .com address, Webx Lite is Rs 1,950 a month, and Shopify Basic is $19 a month billed yearly, charged in dollars.

Can I make a free ecommerce website in Pakistan?

Yes. Storelala gives you a store at yourbrand.storelala.com for free, with cash on delivery, JazzCash, Easypaisa and cards built in. WooCommerce software is free too, but you pay for hosting and an address. Webx lists no free plan on its pricing page, only a free trial, and Shopify needs a paid plan billed in dollars.

Which ecommerce platforms in Pakistan take JazzCash and Easypaisa?

Webx lists JazzCash and EasyPaisa among its payment options. On Shopify and WooCommerce, wallets come through a third-party gateway you sign up with, so check that gateway’s own page for the wallets it takes. Wix lists no payment provider for Pakistan. On Storelala, JazzCash and Easypaisa are built in, and your buyer chooses at checkout.

Do I need a developer to make an online store in Pakistan?

Not on a hosted platform. Storelala, Shopify, Webx and Wix host the store and keep it updated, so you set it up yourself. WooCommerce runs on hosting you rent, so most sellers hire a developer to set it up and to keep WordPress, the plugins and backups up to date.

Storelala is the Shopify alternative in Pakistan, built for sellers who take cash on delivery. Your store lives at yourbrand.storelala.com, every order moves from To confirm to To send to Done on your phone, and the courier and tracking number reach your buyer on WhatsApp. It is free to start and to sell on, with no card needed. Start your store today.
