What must a parcel label show?
The customer’s name, a phone number that works, the full address and the city, because the rider calls before the door. Add the COD amount, or PREPAID, so nobody argues at the door, plus your shop name and number for returns. Most couriers also want their own consignment slip on the parcel, and a barcode of the order or tracking number helps you find the parcel later.
How do I show the COD amount clearly?
Put the exact total the rider must collect in one box, in large type, with the delivery charge already added. Write PREPAID in the same place when the customer has paid, so the rider knows to take no cash. If you leave the amount empty, the label keeps a blank line you can fill with a pen.
Thermal or A4, which should I use?
A thermal printer with 4 × 6 in or 100 × 150 mm labels prints one sticker per parcel with no cutting, and it is the better choice from about 20 parcels a day. A4 needs only a normal printer. Print 2, 4 or 6 labels on a sheet, cut them and stick them with tape or glue. A4 paper is cheaper per label, thermal is quicker.
Can I paste an order from WhatsApp?
Yes. Paste the message into the box above the customer fields. Lines such as Name, Naam, Phone, Address, Pata, City, Shehar and COD or Total are read, in English, Roman Urdu or Urdu. The tool lists what it understood and what it left out, and fills the form only when you press Fill the form.
How do I print many labels at once?
Choose Many orders, then paste rows from Excel or Google Sheets, or upload a CSV, TSV or .xlsx file. The first row names the columns, and the sample download shows them. Only name, address and city are needed. Phone numbers are tidied to 03xx-xxxxxxx, and rows with a missing city, a wrong phone or no COD amount are listed so you can fix them first.
Which barcode does the label use?
A Code 128 barcode of the tracking number if you have one, otherwise of the order number. You can switch to a QR code or turn the code off. Code 128 is read by almost every handheld and phone scanner. Keep the number short, because a long one makes thin bars that are hard to scan.
How do I save the labels as a PDF?
Press Print or save as PDF, then choose Save as PDF as the printer. Set Scale to 100%, Margins to None or Default, and switch off Headers and footers. Keep the same paper size as the one you chose here, or the labels will shift.
Are my customers’ details safe?
Everything is made in your browser and nothing is uploaded. Only your shop name, phone, city, logo, courier and paper choice are remembered on this device, so you do not retype them. Customer details are never saved, and Forget my details clears the rest.
