Will my QR code expire?
No. These are static codes: the link is written into the squares, and nothing passes through our servers. The code works for as long as the link behind it works. Some other generators sell dynamic codes that run through their own short link, and those can stop working when a free trial ends.
How big should I print it?
At least 2.5 cm wide for a sticker or parcel insert. A phone scans from about ten times the code’s width, so a banner seen from 2 metres needs a code about 20 cm wide. Keep dark on a light background and keep the white border around it.
Which error correction level should I choose?
Medium suits most prints. Choose High if the code may get scratched, folded or smudged. Higher levels add more squares, so the code gets denser and needs a larger print to scan well.
Can I make a QR code to receive payments?
Not here. Payment QR codes in Pakistan follow the State Bank’s Raast standard and are issued by your bank or wallet app, so we do not make one. The account details option only writes your title and IBAN as plain text. A phone shows that text, but banking apps will not read it to pay.
Does it work with a 03xx number?
Yes. For WhatsApp, enter the number as 0300 1234567, +92 300 1234567, 0092 300 1234567 or 300 1234567. It is turned into the international form the chat link needs.
Can I put my logo in the middle?
Yes. Choose a logo and it is placed in the centre. Error correction is raised to High for you, so the code still reads with the logo on it. Scan the code with a phone before you print it. A rounded frame with a caption such as Scan to order is optional, and the caption can be in Urdu.
Does this tool store my link?
No. The code is drawn in your browser and nothing you type is sent anywhere. This device remembers your last entries, except the Wi-Fi password, so you do not retype them. Reset to defaults clears them.
