Rules change and each office checks its own way. Compare the result with the authority’s current rules. We do not guarantee that any authority will accept the photo.
For a Pakistan passport, the photo is often captured live at the passport office or NADRA centre. Online renewal through the DGI&P portal asks for an uploaded digital photo, and a photo like this is for that case. A blue background is for the CNIC, not the passport.

What is the passport size photo size in cm?
Pakistan, the UK and Schengen countries use 3.5 × 4.5 cm (35 × 45 mm), about 1.38 × 1.77 inches. The US uses 2 × 2 inches (5.08 × 5.08 cm). The UAE asks for 4.3 × 5.5 cm and Saudi Arabia for 4 × 6 cm, but confirm those two with your visa agent or the embassy. The table on this page lists each one with the head height and background.
Which background does a Pakistan passport photo need?
Plain white. The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports (DGI&P) lists a white background for passport photos, and a blue background is not accepted. The light blue background is what NADRA uses for the CNIC, so do not send a CNIC style photo with a passport application. Check the current rules on the DGI&P website before you apply.
Can I use this photo for my Pakistan passport?
It depends on how you apply. At a passport office or NADRA centre, the photo is usually taken on the spot, so you do not bring one. For online renewal, the DGI&P e-Services portal asks you to upload a digital photo, and that is where a photo like this helps. Rules and file size limits change, so check the portal first. How do I change a photo background to white or blue?
Add the photo, choose the preset, and pick White or Light blue under Background. The person is cut out and placed on the colour you chose. A plain wall behind you, even light and no shadows, gives the cleanest edges.
Which photo works best?
Face the camera straight, eyes open, mouth closed, no glasses glare, and keep your hair and ears clear if the rules need it. Leave some space above your head and show the shoulders. Take it from about arm’s length or ask someone to take it, in even daylight.
How do I print the photos?
Choose Print sheet. The 4 × 6 inch sheet holds 8 photos at 35 × 45 mm, 6 at 2 × 2 inches, and 4 at the Saudi and UAE sizes. It prints at any photo shop or on a home printer set to actual size (100%, no fit to page). The A4 sheet fills the page. Both are 300 DPI with thin cut guides between the photos.
Why does the head look too big or too small?
The head is measured from the shape of your cutout, not from face landmarks, so hair volume, a scarf or a raised hand can change it. Use the Adjust buttons to move or zoom a little and make it again. Always measure the printed photo against the official rules.
Do you keep my photos?
No. Each photo is processed in memory and discarded once the result is sent. You can make 20 photos or sheets every 10 minutes.
