White Friday sale in Pakistan: a seller’s plan for 2026

Storelala Team

White Friday falls on November 27, 2026, two weeks after 11.11. Here is how a small store picks what to put on sale from stock it already holds, makes offers without fake old prices, and handles the returns that arrive the week after.

White Friday is the second sale of a Pakistani November, two weeks after 11.11. Our 11.11 sale guide covers whether to discount at all and how to price a cut so you still profit. This one is about the end of the month: what to put on sale from the stock you already hold, offers that do not lie, and the week of returns that follows.

White Friday 2026 date

White Friday is Pakistan’s name for Black Friday. Homeshopping.pk started calling it that, saying Friday in Pakistan is never black, and the name stuck. Black Friday is the day after the US Thanksgiving, which is the fourth Thursday of November. In 2026 that Thursday is November 26, so White Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026.

You do not have to sell on one day. Pick your own window, say Friday to Monday, write the end date in every post, and stick to it. A sale that quietly runs into December teaches buyers to wait for your next one.

Start from your 11.11 numbers

If you ran an 11.11 sale, its parcels are only now coming back or getting paid out. Before you plan White Friday, write down for each sale product:

  • Orders, delivered parcels and refused parcels.
  • Profit after courier, packaging, ads and the returns.
  • How many pieces are left, and in which sizes.

A product that sold well at 11.11 and came back rarely can go again. A product that drew orders but many refusals should not, whatever the discount. If 11.11 lost money overall, skip White Friday and sell at full price. If you did not run 11.11, start with your stock.

Pick the products from your own stock

A White Friday sale is the right time to turn slow stock into cash before the new year. Open your stock sheet (our guide to inventory management for a small business shows how to keep one) and sort every product into four groups:

  • Not moving. No sale in two months or more. These get the real discount. The money sitting in them is worth more to you as next season’s stock.
  • Odd sizes and colours. The last small and the last XXL of a suit that sold out in medium. Put them in a “last pieces” section at a lower price.
  • Steady sellers. Do not cut their price. Pair them with a slow product in a bundle instead.
  • Best sellers and winter stock in demand. Leave the price alone. If you want them in the sale, offer free delivery on them, not a lower price.

Do not order new stock just for White Friday unless your 11.11 numbers show a product sells at the sale price with few returns. Stock bought for a sale and not sold becomes January’s slow stock.

Honest offers: old prices, bundles and free delivery

Buyers screenshot prices. If the “was Rs 4,000” price never existed, someone can post last month’s screenshot in your comments. Three rules:

  • Only show an old price the product actually sold at, recently, on your store.
  • Do not raise prices in early November so the White Friday cut looks bigger.
  • Say when the sale ends, and put prices back on that day.

On Storelala a product has one price; there is no crossed-out “was” price field. If you lower a price, you can write the old price in the product text or on the product photo. A better offer is one that needs no old price at all:

  • Bundles. List the bundle as its own product at its own price: “Two shawls for Rs 5,500”, or a best seller with a slow item. You pay the courier once for two pieces, and the slow item moves.
  • Free delivery. On one product, or above an order amount higher than your usual order, so it buys you a bigger parcel. Our guide to delivery charges for an online store shows how to set the amount without losing money.
  • Rs off, not % off, on cheap items. “Rs 200 off” on a Rs 1,200 item is easy to read and easy to cost.

Whatever you choose, put the numbers into the discount calculator first. It shows your profit before and after the offer and how many more orders you need to earn the same.

Stock and courier capacity in the rush

White Friday lands when couriers are still carrying 11.11 parcels and their returns. Ask your courier before the sale what pickup time and delivery days to expect that week, and tell buyers the honest answer. The 11.11 guide has the full list of questions to ask your courier.

  • Count your sale stock the day before you announce it, size by size.
  • Set a daily cap you can pack and hand over before the pickup cut-off. If orders pass it, tell new buyers the real dispatch date rather than letting them guess.
  • Mark a product sold out the moment the last piece is gone.
  • Buy flyers and tape for the whole week before Friday.

Confirm every COD order before you book

Sale buyers order on impulse, and with cash on delivery a change of mind costs them nothing and costs you the courier charge. Call or WhatsApp every order, repeat the full amount with delivery, check the address, and hold any order you could not confirm. Our guide on how to reduce COD returns has the words to use on the call and the signs of a fake order.

Announce it in three messages

Past buyers come first. They already trust you, and reaching them costs nothing. Plan three messages and no more:

  • Two or three days before: “White Friday sale on Friday, last pieces and bundles.” No prices yet.
  • Friday morning: the offer, three products, the end date and your store link.
  • The last day: what is left, and when it ends.

Send them on a WhatsApp broadcast to past buyers, and as Instagram posts and stories. WhatsApp’s help page on broadcast lists says only contacts who have saved your number receive them. Our guides to WhatsApp marketing and social media marketing for a small business cover both channels in detail.

The returns week after

The first week of December is when the White Friday refusals, size exchanges and wrong-item complaints arrive. Plan for it the way you planned the sale:

  • Check each returned parcel the day it arrives: unworn, tags on, right item. Only then put it back into stock.
  • Handle exchanges and refunds by the policy you showed before the order. If you do not have one written, our guide to a return and exchange policy has a sample.
  • Match every order to its courier and tracking number, and check the courier’s payout against your delivered orders.
  • Work out the profit per product after returns. Products that sold and stayed sold go in next year’s sale. Products that came back stay out.
  • Put prices back, and take the sale posts and story highlights down.

With 11.11 and White Friday done, you go into December knowing which offers worked for your buyers. Our Eid sale guide uses the same method for the year’s biggest season.

Questions sellers ask

When is White Friday 2026 in Pakistan?

White Friday is Pakistan’s name for Black Friday, the day after the US Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving falls on the fourth Thursday of November, which in 2026 is November 26, so White Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026.

Why is it called White Friday in Pakistan?

Homeshopping.pk started calling its Black Friday sale White Friday, saying Friday is never black in Pakistan, and other sellers picked up the name. Both names mean the same late-November sale.

What should a small business put on sale for White Friday?

Products you already hold that are selling slowly, sizes and colours left over from earlier stock, and bundles that pair a slow item with a popular one. Keep your best sellers at full price, or give free delivery on them instead of a price cut.

Is it wrong to show a fake ‘was’ price?

Yes. If you raise a price before the sale so the cut looks bigger, buyers notice, screenshot it and say so in your comments. Only show an old price the product actually sold at, and say when the sale ends.

Should I run both 11.11 and White Friday?

Only if your 11.11 sale made money after returns and you still have stock and packing time. Running one of the two properly beats running both badly. If you ran 11.11, use its numbers to decide what goes into White Friday.

Storelala is the Shopify alternative in Pakistan: your own store at yourbrand.storelala.com, cash on delivery built into checkout, and each order is booked with PostEx, Leopards or TCS from the order screen and keeps its tracking number. No marketplace commission, free to start, no card needed, and it runs from your phone. Start your store and run White Friday on a store you own.
