      Questions

What size should a menu card be?

A4 (210 × 297 mm) suits a counter or a wall, and A5 (148 × 210 mm) suits a table or a parcel insert. This page makes both at the exact size, so print at 100% and not Fit to page.

Can I write the menu in Urdu?

Yes. Each item, section, deal and the shop name can be English or Urdu, line by line. Urdu lines run right to left in Nastaliq, and prices stay as Rs with commas from 1,000.

How do I add many items at once?

Copy the rows from Google Sheets or Excel, with columns for section, item, price and note, and paste them into the Items box. The page shows how many rows it read and which it left out, with the reason.

What size is the WhatsApp status image?

1080 × 1920 pixels, the full-screen portrait size. The Instagram post is 1080 × 1350 pixels, the 4:5 size. Both are saved as PNG files.

What if my menu is long?

The type shrinks to fit the page, and the page tells you when it gets small. A4 holds the most. For a very long menu, split it into two cards, such as food and drinks.

      Are my items uploaded anywhere?

No. The menu is built inside your browser. Your items are kept on this device so they are there next time, and the logo is never saved.
