Daraz commission list 2026: rates by category and every fee
Under the rates in force since June 1, 2026, Daraz charges 18.50% commission on clothing, 20.00% on jewellery and 13.00% on phone cases. Add the 2.25% payment fee, a handling fee, 16% tax on those fees and 4% withheld at source, and a Rs 2,000 cash on delivery kurti puts Rs 1,415 in the bank of a seller on the Active Taxpayers List. Daraz and the taxes take 29% of the price.
The short answer
Daraz charges commission by category, from 13.00% on phone cases to 20.00% on jewellery under the rates in force since June 1, 2026. Clothing and shoes pay 18.50%. The full table is below.
Commission is only the first deduction. Add a 2.25% payment fee, a handling fee of Rs 10–60 an item, 16% tax on those fees and up to 4% of the price withheld at source, and a Rs 2,000 cash on delivery kurti puts Rs 1,415 in the bank of a seller on the Active Taxpayers List. Daraz and the taxes took Rs 585, or 29% of the price. With Free Shipping Max (6% of the price, Rs 200 maximum) it is Rs 724, or 36%.
Commission by category
These rates come from Daraz’s PDF titled PK Commission Rates, May 2026, linked from the Marketplace Commission Structure page of Daraz University. As read in October 2026, they exclude tax and apply to most lines in each category:

| Mobile accessories other than cases: cables, power banks, chargers | 12.90%–16.00% | Varies by line |
| Baby clothing and accessories | 18.36% | 16.50% |
| Toys & games | 13.50% (12.80% on some) | 12.00% (11.50% on some) |
| Stationery & craft | 6.70% | 6.00% |
| Groceries | 8.54% | 7.50% |
Find your own line in the PDF before you price anything. Search for the full category path you list under, for example Fashion, Women, Clothing, Traditional Clothing, Kurtas & Shalwar Kameez. Parent and child lines differ: Furniture & Decor is 14.80%, while most Home Decor lines under it are 17.25%. Near-twins differ too: Phone Cases are 13.00%, but Cases and Covers, a separate line, stays at 12.90%.
Every other deduction
Daraz’s Payment Policy says that for every order, prepaid or cash on delivery, you are paid after commission, the 2.25% payment fee and these are taken off. Daraz says there is no listing fee.
The item handling fee is charged per item, by the price of one item. Digital goods, top-ups, service products and items you deliver yourself are excluded. If Daraz collects your parcels, a pick-up fee from June 1, 2026 replaces it, charged per parcel by weight.
| Price of one item | Handling fee per item |
|---|---|
| Rs 0–500 | Rs 10 |
| Rs 501–1,000 | Rs 15 |
| Rs 1,000–2,000 | Rs 20 |
| Rs 2,001 and above | Rs 60 |
The policy prints Rs 1,000 in two rows. Note the jump at Rs 2,001: a Rs 2,000 kurti pays Rs 20, and the same kurti at Rs 2,050 pays Rs 60. The pick-up fee:
| Parcel weight | Pick-up fee per parcel |
|---|---|
| Under 3 kg (non-bulky) | Rs 30 |
| 3 kg to under 8 kg (semi-bulky) | Rs 70 |
| 8 kg to under 35 kg (bulky) | Rs 100 |
| 35 kg and above (super bulky) | Rs 200 |
A kurti or phone cover parcel weighs under 3 kg, so the pick-up fee is Rs 30 where the handling fee was Rs 20: about Rs 12 more with tax.
Tax on the fees. Daraz’s NTN page says “the 16% VAT applies only to the platform service fee”, and the commission PDF says its rates exclude VAT. On the sample statement on the Pick-Up Fee Policy page (April 20–26, 2026) the tax sits inside each fee line: the Payment Fee of Rs 1,496.08 is 2.61% of the Rs 57,320 product price, which is 2.25% plus 16%. A payment fee of 2.61% on your statement is not an overcharge. Services tax is provincial, so if your statement shows a different rate, use that one.
Shipping fee. The sample statement shows Shipping Fee Paid by Buyer and Shipping Fee Discount as credits and Shipping Fee as a charge. Daraz University has no per-parcel seller rate, as of October 2026, so ask in Seller Center and read the net of those three lines on your last statement.
Penalties are charged per order, and sellers with a good record are excused:
| What goes wrong | Penalty | You are exempt if |
|---|---|---|
| You cancel an order | 30% of the item value, up to Rs 500 per order | Your cancellation rate is under 1% over the last 90 days |
| Order processed late | 1% of the item value, up to Rs 500 per order | More than 90% processed within the SLA over the last 90 days |
| Return that is your fault | 30% of the item value, up to Rs 500 per order | Your quality return rate is under 1% and the product is not flagged |
Total penalties are capped at 30% of your payout. Payment is weekly: the MyIncome statement appears the day after the cycle ends and the transfer five days later. Keep the signed airway bill for every parcel for at least three months, because payment depends on it. Our Daraz seller account guide covers the set-up and reducing COD returns covers the returns.
Tax taken at source
These are not Daraz fees, but they come off the same payment. Daraz’s NTN page says every seller must give an NTN tied to their CNIC, and tax is still withheld if you do not register. FBR’s Income Tax Circular 01 of 2025–26 puts income tax on online sales under section 153(2A), and its withholding tax rate card (updated to June 30, 2026) sets the rates on the gross amount payable:
| How the buyer paid | On the Active Taxpayers List | Not on the list |
|---|---|---|
| Digital payment, through a payment intermediary | 1.00% | 2.00% |
| Cash on delivery, collected by the courier | 2.00% | 4.00% |
Which row Daraz applies is not stated. The circular lets the marketplace itself be the courier collecting the cash, so this post uses the 2% row for cash orders Daraz delivers and 1% for prepaid ones. Check the Income Tax Withholding line on your statement: at 1% on a cash order you keep Rs 20 more on the kurti.
Final or adjustable. For tax year 2026 the circular calls it a final tax under section 6A. From tax year 2027 it stays final by default, turns adjustable above Rs 200 million of turnover, and a seller up to Rs 200 million may opt out when filing. Our final or adjustable tax section explains the choice.
Sales tax. FBR’s Sales Tax Circular 02 of 2025–26 has the intermediary or, for cash on delivery, the courier withhold sales tax on digitally ordered goods. Daraz’s NTN page puts it at 2% and the two taxes together at “up to 4%”, on the item price less discounts, excluding shipping. On a Rs 2,000 cash order on the Active Taxpayers List that is Rs 40 and Rs 40, each on its own line of the sample statement. Ask Daraz for a withholding certificate, which its NTN page says it provides on request.
What two orders leave you
Take a kurti sold for Rs 2,000 at the 18.50% clothing rate and a phone cover sold for Rs 1,500 at 13.00%. Both are cash on delivery, delivered and not returned, and the seller is on the Active Taxpayers List. Change the assumptions to match yours:
- The kurti costs Rs 1,100 to make plus Rs 40 of packaging, the cover Rs 700 landed with packaging, and Daraz charges the Rs 20 handling fee.
- Assumed: the 16% tax is added to the Free Shipping Max fee, as to the other fees. Daraz’s page does not say.
- Assumed: you pay Rs 0 net for shipping today, because Daraz publishes no seller rate. Subtract your net from the first column. With Free Shipping Max, Daraz pays the shipping and the 6% fee replaces it.
- The withheld sales tax counts as a cost, as it does for a seller who cannot claim it back.
| Kurti, Rs 2,000 | Without Free Shipping Max | With Free Shipping Max |
|---|---|---|
| Commission, 18.50% | Rs 370 | Rs 370 |
| Payment fee, 2.25% | Rs 45 | Rs 45 |
| Handling fee | Rs 20 | Rs 20 |
| Shipping fee charged to you | Ask in Seller Center | Rs 0, Daraz pays |
| Free Shipping Max fee, 6% | Not joined | Rs 120 |
| Tax on those fees, 16% | Rs 70 | Rs 89 |
| Paid out by Daraz | Rs 1,495 | Rs 1,356 |
| Income tax withheld, 2% (153(2A)) | Rs 40 | Rs 40 |
| Sales tax withheld, 2% | Rs 40 | Rs 40 |
| Lands in your bank | Rs 1,415 | Rs 1,276 |
| Taken by Daraz and the taxes | Rs 585, 29% of the price | Rs 724, 36% of the price |
| Left after your Rs 1,140 cost | Rs 275 | Rs 136 |
| Phone cover, Rs 1,500 | Without Free Shipping Max | With Free Shipping Max |
|---|---|---|
| Commission, 13.00% | Rs 195 | Rs 195 |
| Payment fee, 2.25% | Rs 34 | Rs 34 |
| Handling fee | Rs 20 | Rs 20 |
| Shipping fee charged to you | Ask in Seller Center | Rs 0, Daraz pays |
| Free Shipping Max fee, 6% | Not joined | Rs 90 |
| Tax on those fees, 16% | Rs 40 | Rs 54 |
| Paid out by Daraz | Rs 1,211 | Rs 1,107 |
| Income tax withheld, 2% (153(2A)) | Rs 30 | Rs 30 |
| Sales tax withheld, 2% | Rs 30 | Rs 30 |
| Lands in your bank | Rs 1,151 | Rs 1,047 |
| Taken by Daraz and the taxes | Rs 349, 23% of the price | Rs 453, 30% of the price |
| Left after your Rs 700 cost | Rs 451 | Rs 347 |
Without Free Shipping Max, the all-in take is your commission rate plus 10 to 11 points. On the kurti, 18.50 of the 29.25 points are commission and 10.75 are the other fees and taxes. On the cover, 13.00 of 23.27 are commission and 10.27 are the rest. Price from the all-in figure, not from the rate Daraz lists.
Free Shipping Max and vouchers
Free Shipping Max (FSM) is Daraz’s free shipping programme. Per Daraz’s FSM page, you pay a fee per delivered item and Daraz pays the shipping to your customers. From June 1, 2026 the fee is 6% of the item price, capped at Rs 200 (it was Rs 150), with a Rs 30 minimum that stopped applying to fashion categories on August 1, 2026.
When it pays for itself. FSM pays only if it brings extra orders. Assume you pay Rs 0 net for shipping today. A hundred kurti orders then earn Rs 27,500 at Rs 275 each. At Rs 136 with FSM you need 202 orders for the same money, which is 102 more. The rule:
Extra orders needed per 100 = 100 × (FSM fee with tax − the net shipping you pay today) ÷ profit per order with FSM.
| Product | FSM fee with tax | Profit per order with FSM | Extra orders needed per 100 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kurti, Rs 2,000 | Rs 139 | Rs 136 | 102 |
| Phone cover, Rs 1,500 | Rs 104 | Rs 347 | 30 |
The table uses the example costs (Rs 1,140 for the kurti, Rs 700 for the cover) and no returns. Zero net shipping is the hardest case: each Rs 10 of net shipping you pay today lowers the kurti figure by about 7 and the cover figure by about 3. Daraz publishes no figure for the orders FSM adds, so compare your orders a day over 30 days with FSM against the 30 before. You cannot leave FSM for 30 days, and the page says that stacking it with a seller-funded free shipping promotion means paying both fees.
New seller offer. Daraz’s New Seller Package terms give 0% platform commission for 30 days, starting the day you finish four tasks within the first 90 days, including joining FSM. That is Rs 429 with tax on each kurti, about three times the Rs 139 FSM costs, though it does not cover the payment fee. The sign-up page says 30 days in English but 90 in Urdu and Chinese, so read the period in your own account and price for the day it ends, when a Rs 2,000 kurti costs Rs 429 more.
Voucher Max replaced the campaign voucher agreement. Its page sets the fee at 3% capped at Rs 5,000 from June 1, 2026 (it was 2%). Joining is mandatory for campaigns and you cannot leave for 30 days. At 3% that is Rs 60 on the kurti and Rs 45 on the cover, which neither worked example includes. Assumed: 3% of the item price with no tax added. The page does not say whether the cap applies per item, order or month, or whether tax is added, so ask in Seller Center before you join.
The lowest price, and the calculator
For clothing at 18.50%, with the handling fee, no FSM and the same assumptions, here is what reaches you, rounded to the rupee. Fees are commission, payment fee and handling fee, plus 16% tax:
| Price | Fees with tax | 4% withheld | You receive |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rs 800 | Rs 210 | Rs 32 | Rs 558 |
| Rs 1,500 | Rs 384 | Rs 60 | Rs 1,056 |
| Rs 2,500 | Rs 671 | Rs 100 | Rs 1,729 |
| Rs 4,000 | Rs 1,032 | Rs 160 | Rs 2,808 |
Use the pattern, not the table:
- Clothing: about 72 paisa of each rupee reaches you. For items priced Rs 1,001–2,000, multiply the price by 0.72 and take off Rs 23, the Rs 20 handling fee plus its tax. A kurti that costs Rs 1,140 with packaging breaks even near Rs 1,620, before returns and ads.
- Jewellery at 20.00%: about 70 paisa. Phone cases at 13.00%: about 78 paisa, both before the handling fee.
- If a rival’s identical listing sits below your break-even, do not match it. Raise the price or drop the listing. Our guide to pricing products in Pakistan builds the margin on top.
Using the Daraz profit calculator
Our free Daraz profit calculator starts with example numbers: a commission of 10%, a payment fee of 2% and a shipping fee of Rs 150. They are not Daraz’s rates, so replace them. Type these:
- Selling price and Product cost: your listing price and what one piece costs you, delivered. For the kurti, 2000 and 1100.
- Commission: your category’s rate from the table. For the kurti, 18.5.
- Payment fee: 2.25.
- Shipping fee: the calculator has no box for the handling fee, so add up everything per order here: your handling fee (Rs 20 for the kurti) or pick-up fee, your net shipping fee from your statement, and the FSM fee if you joined (Rs 120). For the kurti, type 20 without FSM and 140 with it.
- Packaging: your own cost per parcel. For the kurti, 40.
- Returned orders: 0 to see one delivered order, as in the tables above, then your real return rate.
- Daraz ads or vouchers per order: the Voucher Max fee if you joined (Rs 60 on the kurti), and any ad spend.
The calculator leaves out the 16% tax on Daraz’s fees and the tax withheld at source. Subtract both from its result. The first is 16% of commission, payment fee, handling fee and any FSM fee, but not the Voucher Max fee, since Daraz does not say whether tax applies to it. The second is 4% of the price for a cash on delivery order if you are on the Active Taxpayers List (2% income tax and 2% sales tax). With the kurti entries above it shows Rs 425. Take off Rs 70 (16% of Rs 435) and Rs 80 (4% of Rs 2,000) and you reach the Rs 275 in the table. With FSM and 140 in the shipping box it shows Rs 305, and taking off Rs 89 and Rs 80 leaves Rs 136.
Where your own store fits
Do not try to move Daraz’s buyers to your store. Daraz’s Fair Trade Policy, restated on its seller policy page for delivery handled by the seller, bars sharing social media handles or website links with its customers and encouraging orders outside Daraz. Keep Daraz buyers on Daraz, and serve your own Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook buyers on your own store.
Storelala charges no fees of its own on any plan, so the same Rs 2,000 kurti on your own store carries no commission and no payment fee from Storelala. Courier charges, returned parcels and ads are still yours. Lite is free forever, with cash on delivery and up to 10 products. Core, from Rs 1,000 a month billed yearly, adds JazzCash, Easypaisa and cards, and PostEx, Leopards and TCS booking. See pricing, the guide to free online stores in Pakistan, or Daraz vs your own online store for the full comparison.
Questions sellers ask
What is the Daraz commission list for 2026, category wise?
Daraz publishes it as a PDF called PK Commission Rates, May 2026, with new rates from June 1, 2026. Clothing, shoes and Muslim wear pay 18.50%, jewellery and watches 20.00%, bags 17.00% or 18.50% depending on where they are listed, most makeup and skin care 16.04%, kitchen and bedding 16.65% and phone cases 13.00%, as of October 2026. The rates exclude 16% tax, and there is no listing fee.
What fees does Daraz charge sellers, and what is the payment fee?
The payment fee is 2.25% of the order value. Besides commission you pay an item handling fee of Rs 10–60 by item price, or a pick-up fee of Rs 30–200 a parcel by weight in its place, plus 16% tax on Daraz’s fees, which Daraz’s sample statement shows inside each fee line. Free Shipping Max and Voucher Max cost extra if you join, and penalties apply to cancellations, late orders and seller-fault returns.
What is the shipping fee for Daraz sellers, and what does free shipping cost?
We found no published per-parcel shipping fee for sellers. Your statement shows Shipping Fee Paid by Buyer as a credit and Shipping Fee as a charge, so ask in Seller Center for your rate by weight and city. Free Shipping Max, Daraz’s free shipping programme, charges 6% of the item price per delivered item, capped at Rs 200 from June 1, 2026, with a Rs 30 minimum that has not applied to fashion since August 1, 2026. If you pay nothing net for shipping today, it pays for itself only with extra orders: 102 more per 100 on a Rs 2,000 kurti, 30 more per 100 on a Rs 1,500 phone cover.
How much tax does Daraz withhold from sellers?
Two taxes come out of the sale price: income tax under section 153(2A), 2% on cash on delivery and 1% on digital payments for sellers on the Active Taxpayers List (4% and 2% off it), plus 2% sales tax from Daraz’s NTN page. On a Rs 2,000 cash on delivery order that is Rs 40 income tax and Rs 40 sales tax. Daraz does not say which income tax row it applies to orders it delivers, so check the withholding line on your statement. The income tax is final by default, adjustable above Rs 200 million turnover, with an opt-out up to Rs 200 million.
Is there a Daraz commission calculator?
Our free Daraz profit calculator works if you type your category’s commission rate, 2.25 as the payment fee, and your handling fee, net shipping and any Free Shipping Max fee together in its shipping box. It has no fields for the 16% tax on Daraz’s fees or the tax withheld, so subtract 16% of the fees and 4% of the price (cash on delivery, on the Active Taxpayers List) from its result. On a Rs 2,000 kurti that costs Rs 1,100 plus Rs 40 packaging, with no Free Shipping Max, that leaves Rs 275.
Do new sellers pay commission on Daraz?
Not at first, and not automatically. Daraz’s New Seller Package terms waive platform commission for 30 days once you finish four tasks within 90 days of opening your account: 10 or more live products, joining Free Shipping Max, joining one A+ or Mega Campaign, and submitting products to Early Bird Pricing. The waiver does not cover the payment fee, as of October 2026. The Urdu sign-up page shows 90 days, so check the period in your own Seller Center.
